Time Out in Lisbon
After the busy summer season there is always a bit of a scramble to get out on holiday & recharge the batteries. During my break I visited the bustling Mercado da Ribera to eat at the Time Out Food Hall in Lisbon , Portugal. The hall boasts some fine restaurant stands & Deli style stalls where you can enjoy anything from a quick ice cream to a three course meal with wine. We were incredibly impressed with the quality of the food, & with dishes between 4-10 euros it was certainly reasonable. No trip would be complete for me without sampling the local Ice Cream & as luck would have it Lisbon Ice Cream institution Santinis have a stand here. The set up & service from their team of scoopers was very impressive with a team of four; one to take your order & payment & the other three serving a choice of ten classic flavours into cones & tubs.
